WELCOME TO MY MICROSITE
SY COLBERT
@SYCABO
I’m a wife, a mom, and I live by the four principles of Faith, Family, Fitness, & Focus, all driven by my deep love for The Most High, Yahuah.
-
Who do you believe in?
I believe in Yahuah—the one true Elohim (God) who created everything we see and everything we don’t. He’s not a distant figure to me—He’s the same Elohim who walked with Abraham, gave the Torah to Mosheh, and still speaks through His Word today.“Hear, O Yisra’ĕl: יהוה our Elohim, יהוה is one.” — Deuteronomy 6:4
I believe Yahusha (“Jesus”) is His Son. Not just in title, but in truth. He was sent to walk this earth as the perfect example of righteousness and to lay down His life for ours. Through Him, we see what it really means to love Yahuah and to live according to His ways.
“For Elohim so loved the world that He gave His only brought-forth Son, so that everyone who believes in Him should not perish but possess everlasting life.” — John 3:16
These are their original Hebrew names—Yahuah and Yahusha—and I use them because I want to honor them as they were originally known.
What is the foundation of your faith?
I believe the Bible is true—front to back. Not symbolic. Not outdated. Not contradictory. When I read it with the Ruach Ha’Qodesh (the Holy Spirit), it speaks clearly. The Torah is my life manual. I don’t have to guess how to live—Yahuah already laid it out.“Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” — Psalm 119:105
“The Helper, the Set-apart Spirit... shall teach you all and remind you of all that I said to you.” — John 14:26How did you come to embrace your Israelite heritage?
For most of my life, I only knew the heritage that was handed to me—the one shaped in captivity during the transatlantic slave trade. But the more I read scripture for myself, the more I realized who I really am. My bloodline traces back to the people of the Book.I now walk in my identity as an Israelite—not for culture’s sake, but because I believe being set apart through obedience to Yahuah’s commands is my true heritage.
“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” — John 8:32
“For you are a set-apart people to יהוה your Elohim.” — Deuteronomy 7:6That said, I also believe that anyone—no matter where they come from—who follows Yahuah’s commands and walks in His ways is His. We don’t belong to Him because of blood alone, but because we choose to live according to His Word.
“Blessed are those doing His commands, so that the authority shall be theirs unto the tree of life.” — Revelation 22:14
“There is not Jew nor Greek, for you are all one in Messiah Yahusha.” — Galatians 3:28What does it mean to live as an Israelite?
For me and my house, that means following Torah…honoring the Sabbath, keeping His dietary laws, and observing His feast days. It means choosing structure and obedience over convenience, even when it feels countercultural.“Remember the Sabbath day, to set it apart.” — Exodus 20:8
“These are the appointed times of יהוה, set-apart gatherings which you are to proclaim at their appointed times.” — Leviticus 23:4It’s also why I live by the four values you’ll see woven throughout everything I do—faith, family, fitness, and focus. Those aren’t buzzwords for me. They’re the framework for living a life that honors Yahuah in every area.
“But seek first the reign of Elohim and His righteousness, and all these matters shall be added to you.” — Matthew 6:33
How does faith shape your daily life?
My faith drives my core values—faith, family, fitness, and focus—which guide how I live, love, and serve. Through Yahuah’s Word, I’ve learned to steward my time, relationships, and health in ways that glorify Him.Scripture:“But seek first the reign of Elohim, and His righteousness.” (Matthew 6:33)
Who do you hope to inspire?
If you’re here, reading this, maybe something in your spirit has already been stirred. Maybe you’ve been trying to figure out how to bring your faith into the rhythm of your everyday life. I’ve been there. And I’m still walking it out.I hope what you find here reminds you that Yahuah’s way is not just the right way—it’s the better way. The peaceful way. The fruitful way.
“You make known to me the path of life; in Your presence is joy to satisfaction.” — Psalm 16:11
And you don’t have to walk it alone.
